Welcome back to my wedding industry spotlight series. For this article, I photographed and interviewed Paula Demmer, a travel consultant with Travel Leaders who specializes in planning honeymoons and destination weddings. Having never used a travel agent before, I had lots of questions for Paula.
How long have you been a travel professional?
I started out here in Tacoma 19 years ago assisting another travel agent after a condensed travel school.
How long have you been specializing in honeymoons and destination weddings?
I’ve been planning honeymoons all along. Honeymoons are always fun, and I like talking to the couples. I’ve been planning destination weddings for about 8 to 10 years.
