An Affair to Remember Event Planning is a long time dream of mine that is finally coming to fruition, and I am delving into the world of blogging as a way to express my passion as well as pass on other posts that have inspired me. My name is Jaimee Swindall-Green and I am married to a wonderful husband Donald. Together we raised three wonderful young adults; Zach 23, Zale 20 and Kayde 19. I have been planning parties, weddings and every holiday event I could take over for years with the dream of owning my own event planning business. Once my children started  to leave the nest I began the process of educated myself in the industry. I became a certified event/convention planner and am still attending college to obtain my business degree. I have interned with several planners and had the amazing opportunity to intern as a production assistant with Blue Danube Productions last year. I have always loved parties, but weddings are where my passion is at it greatest. Having the opportunity to get to know the couple throughout the planning is not only fun, but fundamental so that their wedding is a reflection of them. It can be the smallest of things to the grandest, but my goal is to make sure that each wedding is a one-of-a-kind and unforgettable. An Affair to Remember Event Planning is a full service event planning and production company in Tacoma, WA serving all of Puget Sound. We have three standard packages, but do custom packages as well to meet our clients needs. From the engagement party to the honeymoon we are here to handle everything. We also provide month-of and day-of coordination for the couple that has taken care of most of the work, but realize that having someone to take care of the little things as the day draws nearer would be what I call a necessity. The day of your wedding should be a day to remember not only for you, but for your family and friends and having a planner there keeps everything running as it should.
