For a while now celebrities have been rockin’ the ombre look on the red carpets and the range of differences between the roots and the ends are unlimited. For those of you that are not familiar with the traditional look of the “Ombre” hairstyle, it is when the hair color gradually changes from the natural hair color at the roots to a lighter color at the ends. It is supposed to mimic the sun-kissed look of the good ol’ days when we spent every day in the sun without products that protected out hair from the damaging affects. It has evolved into a whole new animal and it is now a hot trend in the wedding/event industry. I have seen some really amazing ombre wedding inspired items that I wanted to share with you. The first two pics are examples of the hairstyle for those who are not familiar it. The third picture is a great way to bring ombre to the bridesmaid’s dresses; having them buy different dresses that are similar in style and make sure that one is pale and then each one gets a little darker/brighter. The color difference is slights so that many people might not notice at first, but will understand once they see a centerpiece like the fourth picture if they don’t walk by the wedding cake in the fifth picture first. The centerpiece is so beautiful and the theme was even used with the pale pink tablecloth with deeper pink tea lights. The favor boxes are even colored in the ombre theme! The last pic is the ombre wedding cake and it is to die for! I love that they didn’t take it too far and make the inside of the cake ombre, phew! The whole point of this isn’t to make you love ombre weddings, but it is about how anything you like, love or find hilarious, can be incorporated into your special day.
